My Current Skincare Routine: 21 Products, Devices, and Treatments I’m Loving

I was recently diagnosed with rosacea, which led me to take a closer look at the skincare products I was using. Through that process, I reassessed my skincare routine, paying special attention to how my skin reacts to different factors—especially my cycle. Right before my period, I tend to get a few pimples, and my rosacea flares up, so I focus on using gentle, soothing products during that time. I figured it was time to share what my routine looks like now.

Today, I’m sharing my favorite skincare products, devices, and treatments that are working for me right now. In some categories, I rotate between a few go-to options depending on the day, while in others, I have a tried-and-true favorite I keep coming back to.

Products marked with an * were gifted to me by the brand.

My Favorite 16 Skincare Products Right Now

    Cleansers

    1. Rx Cleanser With Sodium Sulfacetamide and Sulfur

My dermatologist prescribed this cleanser to be used before my soap cleanser. It smells gross (like eggs) but if it helps keep my mild rosacea from flaring, I’m doing it.

    2. Emma Lewisham Illuminating Oil Cleanser *

I alternate between this oil cleanser and the one below depending on my mood or makeup. I find this cleanser easily removes waterproof makeup and I also like to use it when I have more time to incorporate facial massages.

    3. CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser

This cleanser never irritates or fails to remove my makeup, and the price makes my other outrageous purchases sting a little less.

    Serums

    4. SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic

I’ve used this vitamin C serum for years and years—it instantly brightens my complexion. I haven’t found a vitamin C I like as much! There was a period of time when I didn’t use it, and I noticed a clear increase in dark spots—a pretty telling sign of its effectiveness IMO.

    5. Sunday Riley Good Genes*

I use this serum about twice a week. This is enough exfoliation without aggravating my skin. It’s one of those products that moves the needle in terms of improving skin tone and texture. It is technically an acid, so be careful with this one if you have sensitive skin. Use WITANDDELIGHT15 for 15% off.

    6. Beauty Pie Über Youth Neck & Chest Lift Serum Spray

My neck is becoming an area that’s lost elasticity since I’ve dropped weight and there is a whole wide world of creams and serums out there specifically formulated to treat the neck. I like this one a lot, especially because it’s easy to apply under a cream.

    Moisturizers

    7. Revision Skincare Nectifirm® Cream

And speaking of neck creams, this is the one I love the most out of the options I’ve tried. If I had to choose between the serum spray or cream, I think the cream is the way to go.

    8. INNBEAUTY Extreme Cream*

I can’t say enough good things about this deeply hydrating and firming lotion. It’s made me look alive again during my driest hours. It leaves my skin looking instantly plumper and, let’s face it, lifted.

    9. UBeauty The Super Hydrator*

This stuff is good at delivering a deeper level of hydration than moisturizer with a formula that includes peptides, hyaluronic acid, and panthenol. I’m no scientist but they’re known for creating this formula that goes on lightweight but still gets you that deeply hydrated feeling. I like this formula for warm days or for throwing on before a workout. Use WITANDDELIGHT20 for 20% off.

    Oil

    10. RMS Kakadu Beauty Oil*

I have used a lot of facial oils in my day, and this one is hands down my favorite. It glides on smoothly, doesn’t have the lingering similarity to olive oil, and sinks in quickly enough to apply makeup right afterward. I use this oil as the last step in my routine, both in the morning and at night. After applying, I’ll often do about 30 seconds of facial massages under my eyes and on my neck—it’s a great way to help with puffiness. Use KATEA20 for 20% off.

    Eye Creams

    11. Sunday Riley Auto Correct Eye Contour Cream*

Puffy eyes is another lovely list of new age-related issues that have popped up for me. Facial massages have started to help, but this cream is great for an instant depuffing and lifting effect.  Use WITANDDELIGHT15 for 15% off.

    12. INNBEAUTY Extreme Eye Cream*

Moisture is the name of the game! I use this to target all the little fine lines that are showing up these days. It’s also great for firming and reducing puffiness.

    Masks

    13. Follain Detox Mask

I use this detox mask to ease congestion and deliver glowing skin. It combines clay with chemical exfoliants (AHA, BHA, and PHA) for a one-two punch that really works. It’s a long-time favorite product I’ve used for years.

    14. The Outset Purifying Blue Clay Mask

More recently, I’ve tried The Outset’s blue clay mask—a creamy product that unclogs pores and evens skin tone. I find it to be really effective. My skin looks visibly tighter and clearer after using it.

    15. COSRX Snail Mucin Sheet Mask

I am a big fan of sheet masks and use them a few times a week. My long-time go-to is this COXRX sheet mask—it’s my favorite affordable mask option (evidently I’ve purchased the set 10 times). I keep some in the fridge and put them on when I work in the morning.

    16. Biodance Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask

A few times a month, I’ll use this Biodance mask, which is designed to be worn overnight. I think it’s amazing. My skin looks so soft and bouncy in the morning.

    3 Skincare Devices I Love

In addition to products, I use a few at-home devices. I dermaplane once a week using the highly rated Michael Todd Beauty Sonicsmooth Pro+. I also use an LED light therapy device, the  Dr. Gross LED Mask, a few times a week. Lastly, I occasionally use a microcurrent toning device, the NuFace Mini, especially when I feel and look tired.

    2 Professional Skin Treatments

In terms of treatments, I have been getting Botox for a few years. I took a break for a year and just started getting it again recently. I get Botox in my forehead and, more recently, have gotten it in the eye area to give a slight lift to hooded eyelids.

Additionally, I get microneedling done about two or three times a year to help with skin texture. I’m excited to try the Genius microneedling treatment soon, which I’m told helps tighten the skin and reduce pore size.

Aside from the rosacea diagnosis, my eyelids have changed most in recent years. They cause discomfort, and since I’ve always had hooded eyelids, it’s not surprising they’re starting to cause some strain. The muscles in my left eye are beginning to sag, which I’ve self-diagnosed as Ptosis. It got way worse after the Massive Stye of 2024 that I had to get surgically removed. So I might see a doctor about how to alleviate the droop. Who knows when, though? I mostly notice it when driving at night, something I don’t do a lot of right now. Getting older is fun! Yay.

Anyway, that’s the shebang. LMK if you have skincare questions by sending me a DM on Instagram!
