Another error from the Roosters and it sits up for Brimson who takes it 30 metres to score and wrap up a great night for the Titans. Campbell converts and it’s a big win for the Titans, 30-12.

‘It was all or nothing’: Campbell on his match-turning intercept
“I tried to put myself in a good position to get in the passing lane, it’s an all or nothing play and it paid off,’ Campbell told Fox League.
“We just hung in there, we did really well in defence and that’s what games are won off.
“I’m loving halfback, we have a really great squad here, a good forward pack and the coaching staff back me, it’s good to play good football.”
74′ Tino strolls over to seal win for Titans
Another Roosters error and again it’s Fifita who forces it with a hard shot on Savala.
Campbell’s out the back, waiting for a field goal….but Verrills goes short to Fa’asueamalueai instead and the big man crashes over untouched! The Titans are going to win!

69′ Sami goes over as Titans take lead
Campbell forces another drop out and the Titans cash in! De Groot goes to the line down the right, Fifita sweeps out the back and taps it on to Sami and strolls over. For all the chances the Roosters have had, the Titans take the lead and Campbell converts to put Gold Coast up 18-12.
66′ Fifita wins another battle with Leniu
Fifita earns a penalty with a big run where he bumps off Leniu and Gold Coast are right back on it. Brimson goes for a blindside charge on the last but the Roosters wrap him up.
62′ Campbell goes the length of the field!
The Roosters are on the attack again, Smith tries to go short to Crichton but Campbell reads it beautifully and snatches the intercept! Despite a big chase from Toia and Young, Campbell goes all the way! What a play from the halfback.
Can he convert, from touch, to give the Titans the lead……no, he drags it across the face. We’re locked at 12-all.
57′ Campbell’s key play
A superb run from Whyte puts the Roosters into the Titans half, then Tedesco is first to tap back a Townsend bomb, the halfback gets it back, kicks to Young who finds Toia. The rookie forces a drop out with a nice grubber….only for the Titans to claim the short drop out.
56′ Titans let a try to Tino go begging
Townsend drops an offload from Young on his own 20 and the Titans will try and strike.
Randall tries to find Fa’asuamaleaui and he hits a big gap but the pass is too high and Tino puts it down. That’s a tough one to miss.
54′ Titans hang on again
Sami knocks on a Smith bomb and the Roosters are on the attack again as Verrills goes for an HIA.
But Wong throws a bad pass to Tedesco and the Titans come away with it. The Roosters halves are really leaving a lot to be desired in the attacking 20.
50′ Young scores as Roosters retake lead
Haas loses it off the kick-off and the Roosters are on the attack again.
On the last tackle Townsend goes short to Wong, he offloads to Radley who goes over the top to Young and the Englishman is over in the corner. At last, some joy!
Smith converts from touch and it’s 12-8 Roosters.
45′ Titans take lead with a penalty goal
Gold Coast get a penalty in kickable position and Campbell makes no mistake. For all the Roosters chances – and they’ve made seven line breaks! – they trail 8-6.
Second half is underway
Francis drops a kick off the first set of the second half but the Roosters again let the chance go begging, this time with a poor end to the set.
Halftime: Roosters 6, Titans 6
Tedesco cuts through on a kick return and has Tupou in support, he’s dragged down on the 20 but they can strike right on halftime.
Townsend grubbers it in behind but Campbell swoops on it again. Drop out. Smith shapes for the field goal once he gathers it in, grubbers for himself, gets taken down and the referee says its clean but the Roosters challenge it.
Challenge denied. Not the best half of footy.
37′ Titans waste a golden opportunity
Tupou knocks on a Campbell kick inside his own ten to give the Titans a great chance before halftime….only for Haas to lose it in contact on the first. Kind of sums up the first half.
Injury update: Victor Radley returns
Radley has been cleared and he’s coming back on. Good news for the Roosters.
29′ Roosters blow a chance
Steep throws a good short ball to Tedesco and he surges down field to put the Roosters on the attack again, next tackle they spread it right but Toia drops a simple pass. Geez, the Roosters have really let some chances go begging, which has been a theme for them the last couple of weeks.
25′ Rooster chaos lets Titans off the hook
Tedesco hits a gap off Dockar-Clay, the captain twists through a few defenders, tries to throw a pass, it’s deflected by the Titans, he gets it back and pops an offload to Smith who knocks it on straight back into Tedesco. Titans penalty.
Injury: Victor Radley
The Roosters lock has had a head clash with Chris Randall and he reels away from the contact. Radley’s had an awful run with head knocks, he’s been concussed once already this year and has been sent for HIA’s three more times.

19′ Brimson powers over as Titans level up
Crichton clips Sami high and the Titans have a chance at an equaliser.
Campbell very nearly cuts through and from the quick play-the-ball Brimson flies onto it and bashes over for the try! Right next to the posts as well. Strong stuff from the five-eighth.
Campbell converts and we’re locked at six each.
