    Key Recipe Ingredients

    • Garlic – Fresh garlic is minced to release its aromatic flavor and infuse the entire dish with its robust, savory notes.
    • Raw Shrimp – We use large, peeled, and deveined shrimp. Their mild, sweet flavor and tender texture make them the perfect canvas for our seasoning.
    • Lemon Pepper Seasoning – This is the star of our dish. It adds a zesty, citrusy kick along with a hint of spiciness that perfectly complements the shrimp.
    • Red Pepper Flakes – These add a touch of heat for those who like a little extra kick in their dish.
    • Fresh Parsley – Chopped parsley adds a fresh, herby note and a pop of vibrant green color to the finished dish.

    Substitutions And Variations

Here are some of our favorite variations and substitutions:

    • Herbs: For a different flavor profile, try using fresh thyme or dill instead of parsley.
    • Spice Level: This recipe has a subtle kick from the red pepper flakes, but feel free to adjust the amount based on your spice preference.

    • Pat dry raw shrimp with paper towels. In a bowl, gently combine shrimp with lemon & pepper seasoning and red pepper flakes.

    • In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil on medium heat. Add garlic and stir 30 seconds just until fragrant, but do not let it brown.

    • Add the seasoned shrimp, cooking and stirring for 2-3 minutes or just until shrimp turns opaque.

    • Once it turns opaque, immediately turn the heat off. Stir in the parsley, and add salt and pepper to taste if needed.

    • Always pat your raw shrimp dry with paper towels before cooking. This helps the seasoning stick better and ensures that the shrimp will cook evenly.
    • When combining the shrimp with the lemon pepper seasoning and red pepper flakes, be gentle. You want the shrimp to be coated with the seasoning, but you don’t want to damage the delicate flesh.
    • Use a large nonstick skillet and heat the olive oil on medium heat. This will prevent the shrimp from sticking and the oil from burning.
    • Garlic can easily burn and become bitter, so make sure to only cook it for about 30 seconds, or until it becomes fragrant. Be careful not to let it brown.
