💭 Quotes from Kadan Stadelmann
Trump urged to embrace Bitcoin, claiming crypto acquisition could address national debt while invigorating U.S. leadership in blockchain technology.
Our CTO Kadan has published his article about the USA election & Bitcoin on Crypto Slate, one of the most widely read platforms.
“It is time for Trump to reveal his intention of holding Bitcoin as a national strategic asset. He should outline an extensive Bitcoin policy, highlighting his plan to scoop up 20% of the Bitcoin supply or about 4 million bitcoins.”

🎙️ A Day in the Life of a Blockchain Frontend Engineer: Routines, Code, and Creative Pursuits
My day begins at 7 AM with a non-negotiable routine: house cleaning, teeth brushing, and a cold shower – a personal philosophy of discipline that sets the tone for everything that follows.
At Komodo, work is about precision and human connection. Our communication is direct, with meetings so concise they’re almost an art form and even C-level executives just a message away. At my sit-stand desk, I dive into frontend engineering with intense focus, typically hitting my productivity peak in four to five hours of coding.
Breaks are my sanctuary of creativity – spontaneous drives, canvas painting, LinkedIn scrolling, or diving into my personal library. Sometimes, a rare PS4 gaming session breaks the routine. Remote work grants me the flexibility to follow my natural productivity rhythm, with creative energy often surging late into the night.
Side projects, open-source contributions, and continuous learning are more than hobbies – they’re extensions of my professional identity. I love automating tasks, exploring AI, and embracing DIY projects. Each day is a canvas of possibilities, painted with code and creativity.
At Komodo, we’re not just building technology; we’re crafting experiences, one line of code at a time.

🤯 Historical Crypto Events
The August 2017 Bitcoin Cash hard fork was pivotal in the cryptocurrency industry, driven by scaling disagreements among developers and the community. Tensions between key figures Roger Ver and Craig Wright over increasing the block size limit from 1 MB to 8 MB (later 32 MB) to allow more transactions and reduce fees led to the split. On 1 August 2017, Bitcoin Cash forked from Bitcoin, creating a new blockchain and cryptocurrency, with Bitcoin holders receiving an equal amount of Bitcoin Cash.
This hard fork caused a significant rift in the Bitcoin community, dividing support between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. Initially, Bitcoin Cash’s price surged, reaching over $4,000 in December 2017.
